MICHAEL H. BOONE

Managing Partner

Prior to founding WestFront Capital, Mr. Boone was with the investment banking firm Houlihan Lokey, where he advised companies through M&A, recapitalization, and restructuring transactions across a wide range of industries including oil field services, manufacturing, distribution, steel fabrication, food & beverage, building products, retail, direct marketing, commercial printing, telecommunications, and oil and gas exploration and production.  Through this experience he has developed the skill to quickly understand and solve complex business problems; helping management teams and business owners navigate challenging situations.

Before joining Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Boone was with both FTI Consulting and Arthur Andersen in their respective financial restructuring groups. Mr. Boone holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Boone lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife and two daughters. When he is not at the office or with his family, you can probably find him out of the city enjoying the great outdoors.
